Grapes from the Backyard

Myles loves to find the grapes in the backyard and eat a couple then get down to business and squish all of them. Luckily this is an outside event.

Roller Blading and Skating

The whole family really went skating this time even Camellia and Myles. They all started out really strong. Myles and Camellia were sucked in by the games and toys, finally Caramel and Rhett were too.

The Gorge

Anthony and I drove over to the Gorge on a Saturday. It was a perfect weather day. The performers including Kaskade, Chromeo, Netsky, and Duke Dumont. It was fun to do something different on the weekend.

Dentist Check Ups

Time for your check up! All the kids went to the dentist. I only took pictures of Myles. He did great! Thought Myles would get a little anxious about the whole situation, but talking about it before was really helpful. Camellia was a little confused but she still let them look at her teeth once Camellia was placed on my lap.

Caramel's back teeth didn't form correctly. So the dentist filled the side of 3 of her back teeth for easier cleaning. It took two more hour long appointments to get it done. Caramel had to have lots of stuff in her mouth which she totally hated. She was glad when it was all over. Rhett didn't have any problems. Glad to have this task marked off the list.

Hanging in Kent during Gymnastics

While Caramel has been at gymnastics, we have been running through the water at Kent Commons next to the library. Rhett, Myles, and Camellia are fun to watch as they run through the water. The boys like to get their hair drenched in the water. First time I didn't bring swimsuits, the next two times I was more prepared.

Other times when the weather isn't so warm, we play by the Green River in the trees. There are some wonderful climbing trees. And of course there are lots of sticks for imaginative play and sap to make everything messy.
Caramel did a month of gymnastics twice a week. She loves to practice cartwheels at home all the time. She enjoyed it, but said she wanted to be done with it. The drive was a little far to Kent and traffic made it not so fun. Caramel is going to start swimming lessons in a week or so.

Swimming at Coulon and Lake Sammamish

One last swim before the Fall weather and school schedules come.
We swam at Coulon Beach enough times that all the kids were comfortable in the water.
Got to go out on the boat with Grandpa Dan, one last time before school.
Lots of fun swimming and riding on the tube.
