South Dakota Hunting

Anthony took his annually trip to South Dakota. Neil and Anthony had a bigger crew this year for hunting at Rodger and Karen's house. There was a blizzard on the first day which made things interesting.

Pumpkin Patch and Grandpa Neil

Carpinito Farm, we made it! Great weather to go to the farm. Although the pumpkin patch was a little slick with mud from earlier ran.
Rubber ducks and water pump, they boys enjoyed pumping the water out and spending the ducks floating down.

Jumping in the hay and corn pit. Myles played in the hay and playgroup around. All the kids played in the big corn pit, taking off their shoes to more fully experience the corn.
Enjoyed the animals too, there was a huge mother pig with tons of piglets like ten all feeding and running around. Sitting on the tractor was fun. Caramel wanted to go through the hay maze. Then she wanted to go in the corn maze which is much bigger. We haven't experienced that yet, don't want to lose any kids. A tractor pulled us out to the fields were we saw a field of brussel
sprouts and lots of pumpkins. We did all this eating kettle popcorn of course.

Sports Class

Myles is learning about sports at a multi-sports class through Renton community center. He was nervous and didn't want to play around the gym the first day. It wasn't until his friend showed up that he decided to participate. The relay races were the best to watch. Myles was very frustrated when he didn't make a goal or basket.

Halloween Night

October at Cross and Crown

Myles enjoys going to preschool. I went to school on the Halloween Carnival day.
Lots of fun activities going on that day- frosting cookies, pumpkin poem, vampire listening story, bouncy house, Halloween themed books and making a treat bag that had lots of goodies in it. Myles loved his pumpkin he came home with- even had his name on it. Rhett carved it for Myles with a butter knife.

Trike-a-thon

Cross and Crown Preschool had their annual Trike-a-thon. Myles was ready to cruise around the track on his balance bike. Left turn, left turn, left turn. The Renton police were there with their sweet flashing lights and siren. At one point I didn't see Myles, he had stop for a little breather. Myles enjoyed myself. Rhett and Camellia attended too. After several laps we headed to soccer for more fall fun.

Halloween Costume Shopping

One night we went to a couple Halloween stores. One was basically like a haunted house for the younger kids. Lots of scary things that moved or made sound and the lighting was dim around these scary decorations. Myles was very confused and nervous. I didn't like the store very much. The next Halloween store we went to had brighter lights and wasn't so scary. Caramel picked out a feisty fairy costume. Rhett couldn't decide. Myles and Camellia already had their costumes. Myles Stormtrooper rain jacket and mask; Camellia one of Caramel's ballet recital dresses. After visiting the Halloween stores the kids would request to go back frequency because it was so strange and new.

Rhett was very worried he didn't pick out a costume yet. Luckily he had a Grammy day. They went shopping and Rhett picked out a black Phantom outfit and some accessories - a bloody chainsaw and bloody glasses. The kids are set for Halloween.

Just Like Daddy

Myles saw Daddy's tool bag out and opened, so he got his too and put it right next to Daddy's.
Even fall sleep on the couch randomly like Daddy.

New Mailbox

Anthony put in a new mailbox setup for the neighbor and us. It was a Saturday project. Looks amazing. The old mailboxes were pretty sad looking especially when the neighbors mailbox fell off the post.

Puffy Eye

Myles had what looked like a bug bite above his left eye. When he woke up in the morning, it had tripled in size. He couldn't open his eye the whole way because of it. Myles didn't even say anything about it, which I thought for sure he would. Anthony took him to the doctor. It was fine and by the end of the day looked normal. But it was crazy big in the morning, so weird. Myles got some gummy worms treats after the doctor visit.

Family Photos

We went to a scenic place in Kent, nice and close.
First time we got out there it started raining, so bad we left.
We had to get all dressed up again and luckily had no rain the second time.
