Halloween Night

We trick or treated with 2 other families. 

 Myles loved showing Anthony his candy after every house.

Camellia did a great job keeping up with the big kids. There were a few festive houses Myles and Camellia did not want to visit. A couple houses had the owners dressed up in full costumes like Lego Spiderman, Jack Skeleton, a chicken, and a vampire.

Myles got a little tried and decided to lay on the sidewalk. It was pretty entertaining to see him take a quick power lay down.

 

Dumping out all the candy and organizing. Caramel and Rhett to take advantage of their younger siblings when making candy swap deals. A great no rainy night.

Costumes and Halloween Fun

Auntie Charity and Benny always send fun cards. Camellia had fun trying on these sweet glasses with hairy eyebrows.

We had lots of costume changes. Caramel and Rhett were always the same - Rhett Pikachu from Pokémon and Caramel Mal from Descendants. Myles and Camellia had fun trying on random costumes from the boxes of Halloween and dance recital costumes.

Lots of celebrating. At school and church then finally on Halloween. Myles as all about pass out the candy at the Halloween Trunk or Treating church party. The rest of the kids made the rows collecting candy.

Cross and Crown Halloween

Happy Halloween! Halloween landed on a Tuesday. I volunteered a preschool in Myles' class. He decided to go with a firetruck the blow up bat is the hose and I need to hold this pumpkin basket costume. Cami had fun dressing up. There was bouncy house obstacle course, frosting cookies and a Halloween story and songs.

Pumpkin Carvings

Finished products! We went pumpkin hunting. By the time Halloween came the pumpkins were super moldy. The wolf is Grandpa Neil's, unicorn is Anthony's, bat is mine, red face is Caramel's, Minecraft face is Rhett's, Minecraft guy is Myles' and pumpkin with Jack-a-lantern print out is Camellia's.

Elementary Pictures and Conferences

Caramel in 5th grade and Rhett in 2nd grade. 

They would not let me pick out any part of their outfit not even the hair.

They had conferences were they thought about what they want to be or do in the future.

Pumpkin Patch - Maris Farm

We tried a new farm this year in Buckley -Maris Farm. It had different attractions that made it fun. The weather wasn't that great, it down poured a couple times. We had to stand under cover it was pouring so bad. After being there for an hour or so the weather finally cleared.

 The pumpkins were a little mushy, but we found some good ones. 

They have an apple blaster, a new experience for us. Everyone enjoyed aiming for the metal Halloween characters. 

Pedal powered carts, they were difficult for the kids, they had to use their leg muscles and not forget to steer. Caramel and Grandpa Neil were battling at tetherball. 

They had a fun bouncy hill, all the kids loved jumping around on it.
