Disneyland

No Power

Saturday afternoon and evening the power went out. The kids enjoyed the candles through out the house. We went to the super crowded Ikea to buy a laundry basket. Saturdays are busy at Ikea. They did get bored after awhile and really wanted the power back. They made bed in front of the fire.

Myles blew out a candle and wax got on his face and near his eye. That was a little scary, thinking he got hot wax on his eye.

Anthony installed the generator and got that running just as the power turned back on.

Airplane headed for Disneyland

We are headed to Disneyland. 

I sat with the girls and Anthony sat with the boys. 

They watch movies they whole time.

Library Time

Enjoying some library time. Myles likes "The Cat in the Hat" currently. Myles and Cami love to go on the computers.

Sooners - Rhett's Basketball Team

Rhett is on his first basketball team called the Sooners. He has a couple classmates from school on the team. It was a steep learning curve with only 2 practices then only games.

Rhett is the shortest on the team. He enjoyed playing and did make some baskets during the games. All the kids were learning so the games were fun to watch.

Caramel's Class Project

I coordinated Caramel's 5th grade classroom project for the PTSA auction. I had fun learning how to make this piece of art. A world map is something I have wanted to have in our house.

The kids enjoyed sanding the wood. I stained it then they sponged white paint on a vinyl stencil of the world and saying. 

Valentine's Day

Anthony was gone in Mexico for Valentine's day. The kids had fun with school celebrations even Cami at  a friends house. Stopped by Rhett's class and they were fun stations. Caramel's class was super rowdy. Myles had super cute Valentine's crafts. A favorite Valentine was from the music teacher, a tiny piano.

Anthony came home a day early and surprised me with a ton of chocolate. It was a little ridiculous but not shocking because I told him not to bring home any chocolate.

Uncle Don and Aunt Carolyn

We had some visitors from Mississippi. Grammy Pam's brother and his wife. The kids enjoyed meeting them and going out to eat and the Family Fun Center late one night. It was fun getting to know them a little while they enjoyed the NW area.

Cub Scouts for Rhett

Rhett started Cub Scouts on Wednesdays. He is a wolf and working on knowing the Scout Law, Oath, Salute, Handshake, and Sign so many things!!
