Enjoying Nature

We have to get out and enjoy those sunny winter days. Well at least me and the younger two. We rode in the sun on the Cedar River trail. Flat and not too busy, so perfect. I followed them on my scooter. We remembered gloves so no complaints.
After the bike ride, we headed to the trees. Perfect for climbing on.

We checked out the river too!

School in January

At school, I am chairing a STEM Fair. Looking forward to how that all turns out and if students enjoy it. Another PTSA member and I worked on posters like this one to advertise.
With 3 of my kids having the art docent program, I am actually not an art docent for my kids' classes. They all had a parent volunteer for their class, so I taught an art lesson for a sixth grade class that Caramel's isn't in. They did a great job focusing on creating art!
The PTSA was able to sponsor an West African dance and drum assembly for MLK. It was fun and amazing how loud those drums can be! The main guy is our neighbor and has a Kindergartener. He also has a senior in high school that danced with them as well. One of Myles' classmates got to dance on stage.

New Beginnings

With some changes in the youth program at church Caramel is in Young Women's earlier than expected. They had New Beginning night to start off the year going over the different values. Caramel talked about Faith with 3 other Beehive girls.
