They walked and they walked

I have a goal of walking to school more. It is a little easier having Caramel leave earlier for middle school then only have to deal with 3 getting out the door at the same time. Walking home from school isn't too bad. There are more complains for walking in the morning. We are not early raisers, so a lot of times we need those 10 extra minutes to eat breakfast.

First Day of School

They were all excited for school, not too excited for pictures especially the new middle schooler.

Caramel, 7th grade, Northwood Middle School
Rhett, 4th grade, Fairwood Elementary
Myles, 1st grade, Fairwood Elementary
Camellia, Kindergarten, Fairwood Elementary
(Cami actually started a few days later than the rest.)

Last Summer Days

Enjoying the sunny neighborhood park. We are lucky to have some families with kids in the neighborhood with mostly older home owners. This cute little boy lives right next to the park and rides his 4 wheeler around with his older siblings or parents. Cami was able to take a little ride on it.
Finally going to Henry Moses Aquatic Center on the last day before it closes for the season. This swimming place is just down the hill from us next to the freeway. The kids always ask when we are going to go. We usually only go once in the summer. We barely made it this summer, the kids would have been upset if we never did. Caramel got to bring a friend. Myles was tall enough for the water slide and rode the tube down. Rhett and I enjoyed the slides too.
