Soccer - Sting

Camellia was on her first team, playing soccer with 5 other kids. Go team Sting. She had fun playing soccer and quite the advantage being the oldest on the team. Her coach ended up being the husband of Myles's speech teacher from when he was 2 years old. It was fun realizing the connection. Cami was able to soccer lots of goals and never learn a little about defense - standing right in front of the goal.

Pumpkins and Skeletons

Cleaning the pumpkins from a muddy seasons. We didn't get a very dry weekend the time we went to the pumpkin patch.
Anthony with his excellent carving skills.
A witch for Cami and Jack Skellington for Rhett.
Finally on a dry fall day Myles and Cami had some fun in the leaves.
New skeleton for the spider and another new skeleton for the top of the Jeep. Anthony has fun with his decorations. He saw another Jeep with a skeleton on it and quickly ordered some from Amazon. The passenger just got a ride one night to the trunk or treat event at church then he had to go back to sitting at the front door.

Compassion Experience

There was an station set up at a local church called the Compassion Experience. Here is the explanation from the website. "The event will educate the visitors about the realities of life in poverty and provide an international experience to visitor who may not ever have the opportunity to travel abroad to a developing country." You enter this station they have set up and put on head phones to hear a story about a little girl or boy. You go into different small rooms that look like their house or town. Here is Myles on the bed with his head phones on.

Fun Runs

Caramel did a Color Run at middle school. I was able to attend and sprayed students with color. The middle school girls loved having their hair sprayed. Caramel's face after the run.
At Fairwood I did the fall fundraiser Fun Run. The weather was did not want to cooperate. It was raining but also thunder and hail. We had the Fun Run stations inside or undercover. We didn't get to run on the grass field like I wanted. The 4 stations included running and snack, relays, games/free play, and martial arts. We were able to raise just under $7,000.
Thank you for volunteers and students received keychain for $5 donation.
