School Open House

Lots for fun STEAM projects in each grade level for the kids to explore. Myles made an extra long toothpick and jelly bean structure with all the leftovers near the end of the evening. Rhett and Cami had fun exploring was well. Everybody loved the free milk and cookie. Rhett ended up being a raffle winner and received metal puzzle brainteaser where you try to unlink two pieces of metal.

Cachet's Birthday

We celebrated at a new kind of restaurant for the kids to see. They cooked the food right in front of you at your table. They even toss a piece of food at you to catch in your mouth. They make the fire extra big for show too. It was fun to eat at Tokyo Steak House in Bellevue. 

Interestingly, I had my first substitute job on my birthday. A half day job in a Kindergarten class.

The Adventures of Myles

Myles loves taking paper from the printer like a big stack. He draws lots of robots, Captain Underpants, Dog Man, Plants vs Zombies. He cuts and tapes papers together to make books or big characters. One of his gifts from Christmas was blank books to create. We mailed one to Grandma Brenda and she sent this story back.

Freezing Soccer

This is a picture of purchases Rhett made with his Christmas gift cared from Grandpa Neil. Warm pants, hot hands, Nike slides, and water bottle, all to stay warm because it is freezing at soccer practice and games. Soccer practice is 6 to 7:30pm and Rhett is always freezing afterwards. The hot hands are great for sliding into your glove.

Rhett's Birthday

Rhett had to buddies of his come over for pizza then go swimming at the Covington Aquatic Center. The ice cream sandwich cake is becoming a favorite for birthday cake choice. 

Rhett was able to get a leopard gecko for his birthday. He was very excited. He did want a breaded dragon at first. Leo the gecko is well taken care by Rhett. 

2020 at GWL

 We started out the New Year with a trip to Great Wolf Lodge. The kids received some new swimsuits for Christmas. It was fun to be there with older kids, Myles was able to go on all the tube rides but one. It took awhile for him to want to go on them. Cami was awesome at the obstacle course with rope and floats. Rhett got to try the magic wand with Grammy. Caramel was helpful putting younger kids on the floated toys. We did the themed room with bunk beds.
