Pumpkin Patch - Maris Farm

We tried a new farm this year in Buckley -Maris Farm. It had different attractions that made it fun. The weather wasn't that great, it down poured a couple times. We had to stand under cover it was pouring so bad. After being there for an hour or so the weather finally cleared.

 The pumpkins were a little mushy, but we found some good ones. 

They have an apple blaster, a new experience for us. Everyone enjoyed aiming for the metal Halloween characters. 

Pedal powered carts, they were difficult for the kids, they had to use their leg muscles and not forget to steer. Caramel and Grandpa Neil were battling at tetherball. 

They had a fun bouncy hill, all the kids loved jumping around on it.

Gum in Hair

After getting Caramel, Rhett, and Myles off to school, I sit down to do Camellia hair only to find gum! I tried to get it out with peanut butter. I ended up cutting some out. GUM!

Football for Rhett

Rhett did a football clinic. When I watched, he looked like a ping pong ball bouncing all over the place. He learned a lot and loves to take his football to school and the park. The weather was great cold but no rain. Rhett did end up with 2 infected fingers near the fingernail from picking and biting his nails. Playing football made one of the fingers bleed so he started wearing a finger protector one the worst one until it was better.

Fun Run

 

 I chaired a Fun Run event and fundraiser for Caramel and Rhett's school. It was fun but time consuming, so it was nice having my mom here. The weather ended up being great. About 40% of the students participated in the after school event. There was 4 stations the groups rotated through.

 3rd and 4th graders in one group Anthony ended up leading around.

Grandma Brenda's Birthday

Dinner out! Eating out is always the best way to go. We ate at Jimmy Mac's so we could eat peanuts and throw the shells on the ground. 

Grandma Brenda was here for her birthday day, we had a yummy chocolate cake at home.
