End of Summer with Myles and Cami

Caramel and Rhett ended up missing two days of school to drive down with Grandpa Dan to Utah for Karmen's baptism. So it was just Myles and Cami for the weekend. We went to Wild Waves using the tickets the kids got for free doing the library summer reading. It was super relaxing only having 2 kids. We did water fun first with the pirate play area and wave pool then rides. 

Then the neighborhood had the Last Splash event. Myles wanted this picture with him showing all the bouncy houses. There were 3 different ones. 

New neighbors

We had some new neighbors move in a few houses down the street. The boy is Myles' age and started Kindergarten like Myles but in a different class. They like to eat lunch together (I think Myles eats all his friends treats if not during lunch after school). The little girl is a year younger than Cami, they have fun dressing up with crowns and high shoes.

Myles and Cami were doing some serious dancing together like ballroom. It was pretty entertaining.

Grandpa's 70th

We celebrated Grandpa Neil's 70th birthday over Labor Day weekend. We stayed in Kingston with Aunt Charity and Andrea and families. Fun times with the families making cupcakes, exploring the beach full of tiny crabs, street shops, ferry port, and park playgrounds. And of course trying to get all the kids to smile in pictures and go to sleep. 

Fun at Parks

We went to the park with two family friends. One friend had soccer practice so we played at the park next to it. Myles and Cami had fun with the bike and bike tools. We went swimming at Rolling Hills after. Fun Day!

Cami's Friends Party

Cami's good friend had her birthday party at Rolling Hills. All the kids went Cami had a blast of course floating around with her friend. Myles finally felt comfortable for whatever reason and was floating in the deep and not thinking he was going to sink to his death. Rhett had fun swimming. Caramel finally got swam at the end, being to old or cool to swim in the beginning. Her and some of the older kids raced the length of the pool. We were the last ones to leave with the pool closing early for the day because of the air quality from forest fires.

Take Your Kids to Work

Anthony had a take your kids to work day. Caramel had a sleepover with a friends so she didn't go. I picked them up around lunch time. They found random stuff to take home. Myles is upset here because he only could take one book home. 

Myles 6 Birthday

Myles had some local neighborhood friends over for his birthday. We played outside on a bouncy water slide Myles got for his birthday. He had fun opening presents after friends left.

Best gift was this doodles drawing book. Myles loves to add drawing to it.
