Bird House Craft

For Grammy's birthday, we painted bird houses. Each person painted their own bird house then I stapled gunned them together and sprayed them with a sealant. They looked fun all hanging together.

The Truck

Just when you thought is wasn't possible. Yes, Anthony bought another vehicle. His largest one to date. A truck for all those hauling trips. It is said we will not have this truck very long and of course there will be a profit made when sold. This truck is to help with all the home remodeling in the near future. I do believe there will come a time when the kids know other stores besides Lowe's are open on Saturday. For now the kids believe Lowe's is Anthony's favorite store.

Visit to Grandma Wanda

A visit with Great Grandma Wanda.
Minus Daddy and Caramel at work and school.
It was a cold sunny winter's day.
Boys enjoyed playing with Grandma trucks and Camellia showing how much she has grown.

11 Months- Camellia

Camellia waves when you say, "Hi" and "Bye" to her. She is very good at knowing a wave is coming if we are in the hallway by the front door. Camellia is about to start walking. Not yet, but almost there. She can crawl nice and fast (knees down on carpet and up on hardwood), stand without holding on to anything and walks holding on to a moving or stable object. She is a shy girl and loves to hide her head on mommy's shoulder when people say hi to her. She is excited at giving high fives. Two teeth on the bottom with two coming in on the top. She is a little talker, making cute baby talk frequently. She loves to cry when mom walks away or Myles gets close. Loves to pull off her socks.

Height- 2 feet 4.5 inches (49%)
Weight- 19 lbs 14oz (62%)
Head Circumference- 17.5 inches (50%)

She does get the name of "Crazy Cami" because she might have a lazy eye. She is getting her eyes checked in April.

Creative Mode

Caramel and Rhett have a bucket full of Legos- Anthony's Legos from his youth. They have enjoyed creating with them and all the different pieces for several years. This Christmas, Caramel and Rhett received some Lego sets and learned about following the directions to build items. Building can be challenging with Myles and Camellia around. (Rhett got a motorcycle Lego, Myles quickly took over and lost most of the pieces, luckily Rhett wasn't too attached.) Caramel does a great job following the directions but loves help. Rhett however can get frustrated when he thinks he is building correctly then pieces don't attached right. Also keeping track of all the pieces and instructions is challenging. It was a ton easier when they just had the bucket and the creative could go anywhere. Although, I do think it is an important skill to be able to follow directions.
Lego building usually happens with daddy and so does Minecraft. Rhett loves to build in Minecraft. Anthony first played with Caramel and Rhett, teaching them how to build and survive. Now they can play successfully by themselves. It is fun to watch the excitement when a new aspect is learned.

My Birthday

Anthony loves to mention the fact that we are getting older. But running around after 4 kids doesn't make me feel old, just makes me want to sit in silence and watch nothing get messy or break. Here in the picture, we are about to eat cake. Mint chocolate ice cream cake, pretty darn good. I love how Caramel is under smiling and Myles is over smiling. Then there is Camellia eating the plate deciding if there is cake on it yet. And Rhett with the no eyes smile.

Events for my birthday included going to the Family Fun Center which was quite fun. It was on a weekday, so basically nobody there and it has been remodeled so looking nice and clean. The best gift is not having to make dinner and clean up dinner at the house. Love having no clean up! Also a main ingredient, there was four adults with the four kids so very nice ratio. Thank you grandparents!

Later Anthony and I ventured over to Pho 801 in downtown Renton. I have never tried Vietnamese food and wanted to taste the noodle soup. I wasn't not a fan, but it was nice to eat with just Anthony. Anthony grew up with a close friend that was Vietnamese, I heard some new stories which was entertaining. After that we ended at Target were I bought a new purse and some clothes for Caramel- random. My sister Chanel had a layover in Seattle, so I saw her and her husband for a couple hours which was surprising- another random.

I had some fun treats from friends and a dinner out with some girlfriends. Hooray for 32!

Caramel baked and frosted her own cake. I asked if this could be my birthday cake. But that was totally not possible. Caramel loves being in charge of desserts. So cake for Rhett's birthday, Caramel's cake and my birthday cake, lots of cake in the house.
