Spring Gnomes

Needing to get out of the house even with some muddy ground and rain clouds, we headed to Maple Valley with Grammy for the gnome trail. Rhett and Myles were running most of the time until we arrived at the gnome part. Luckily only shoes were muddy.

First Tooth Out

March 30, 2020 first tooth down. Cami lost her tooth in the van. We were running an errand and she was eating a snack. Next thing I know her tooth is gone and we can't find it anywhere. Not sure where it went. We wrote a note and she still got a dollar from the tooth fairy.

Game Nights

Playing Rummikub with the kids. Lots of time in the evening now with no sports to drive around to.

Rock Hunts

Lots of bikes rides and walks with the COVID-19 stay at home order. Myles and I enjoyed a neighborhood exploration. Myles on bike and me walking. We painted some rocks and dropped them around the neighborhood. Myles found some rocks and wrote a message in the rocks.

70th Being a Blacksmith

It is Grandpa's 70th! With the stay at home request from the COVID-19 it was super sad that my sibling couldn't come up for the birthday celebration. We had carrot cake with my family.

Then Anthony, Caramel, Dad and I went to a blacksmith and made knives from horseshoes. It was an experience and worked out my hammer skills. With restaurant dinning in closed, we ordered and picked up food from Red Robin.

First Week No School

Second tooth out, March 13

With no school or sports, Leo the gecko is getting lots of field trips out of his cage. Rhett has been dreaming about Leo a ton too. He talks in his sleep and thinks he has lost him in this bed. I was double check the cage then tell Rhett he is in the cage. Couple times I have even pretended to put him in to calm Rhett down.

Doing a little science looking at frogs then watch a video on frog vs toad. And looked at Caramel's frog dissection presentation from her science teacher.

Lucky 1st place volleyball

It was a last minute decision for the team to be in the Lucky Charm tournament. It was at their home court so no travel. Only 7 of the girls could make it out of the 13 and Coach Fey from another Kraken team was the coach. Both regular coaches Craig and Robbie couldn't make it. Well they did amazing and ended up winning the tournament. Shirts for the winners. It was a great win for them and they are on a roll winning tournaments. Caramel loved it and had a couple serving streaks. Myles and I came for the last half of the tournament to watch.

Camellia's 6th

Cami turned 6! She invited some new friends from school and a couple neighborhood friends. We colored bag and made shrinky dinks (plastic sheets you color on then heat and they shrink). Henry, Stas, Evelyn, Mia, Penelope, Brynn, and Annajot were able to come. It was more of a relax party and got a little crazy. They colored paper microphones and song a long to songs.
